Error Code Explanation R Y G Notes Explanation
E1 High-Pressure Protection 1 It is a sensor put aside the exhaust pipe. Once the pressure of exhaust pipe surpasses 3.15 Mpa, the air conditioning system will stop working.
E2 Inside Anti-Freeze Protection 2 Sensor on the indoor unit detects the evaporator temperature continuously, once the temperature is lower than some point for certain time, it will turn off the system to avoid freezing the indoor unit.
E3 Low pressure Protect 3 For the system with a low pressure sensor (locating aside the inspiration pipe), once the pipe’s pressure is lower than 0.15 Mpa, the system will stop working.
E4 Compressor Discharge protect 4 6 sec Pause before Flash Sequence Once the exhaust temperature of the compressor is higher than regulated, the system will be turned off automatically.
E5 Low pressure over current protect 5 Once the system current is higher than regulated, the system stops.
E6 Indoor-Outdoor communication Error 6 Bad communication between indoor and outdoor units.
E7 Mode Conflict 7 For multi-split air conditioners, when one of the indoor is working for cooling (dehumidifying), another indoor unit cannot work for heating.
E8 Hight Temp protect 8 While heating, indoor tube temperature sensor will detect
E9 Cold wind protect 9 While heating, the indoor fan will work several minutes later than the compressor so that the airflow that comes out the air conditioner will not be too cold.
E0 AC Voltage Low 10 For Inverter system, the frequency will lower down when the voltage drops sharply so that the current can keep stable.

F6 Cooling Overload 6 For inverter, while cooling, the outdoor tube temperature sensor detects the temperature contunuously, and will low the working frequency if the tube temperature is higher.
F7 Unused 7 For inverters only. After a period of cooling, the system will work in high frequency for a period.
F8 Current Overload 8 For inverters only. Lower frequency, reduced the load if the current is higher than standard.
F9 Unused 9 For inverters only. Lower frequency, if exhaust temperature is higher than standard.

H1 Defrost 1 In heating condition, defrosting automatically and keep the heat exchange efficiency.
H2 Static Duct Clean 2
H3 Compressor Overload protect 3 Compressor stop working when the temperature is higher than regulated.
H4 System Abnormal 4 While cooling, the system stops if the outdoor tube temperature is higher than a certain point for certain time. While heating, the system stops if the indoor tube temperature is higher than a certain point for certain time.
H5 Mode Protect 5 For inverters only.
H6 Unused 6 6 sec Pause before Flash Sequence
H7 Synchronized fail 7
H8 Water full protect 8 For a system with water pump, such as cassette air conditioners, the system stop working when the water level surpassed regulated level.
H9 Heating Error 9
H0 Heat high temp ptotect 10 For inverters only. While heating, lower the frequency if the indoor tube temperature is higher
FA Pipe Hot For investors only. While cooling, lower the frequency if the outdoor tube temperature is higher than standard.
FH Freeze Protect For inverters only. While cooling, lower frequency if the indoor unit is icing up. This will cause poor air return to the evaporator/indoor unit. Another reason is indoor unit/ evaporator fan speed is too low.
